It’s the time a year again where everyone decorates the evergreen with silver bells, elegant ornaments, beautiful garlands, and other types of decorations. North Hall High school is no different.
Every year in December, North Hall has a traditional contest where teachers and their students can decorate Christmas trees based on the teachers curriculum or the creativity of the class. All teachers that participate receive a rubric that has the requirements of what can and cannot be put on the tree. One of the requirements is all decorations must be made by hand. The teacher with the most points wins. Ms. Turk’s art club did ornaments of their own liking for National Art Honor Society.

“I decorated my ornament with glitter and cinnamon sticks,” said senior Karlee Taunton.

The club will be selling their ornaments after the festival and donate the profits to charity.
These exciting trees are located in our media center, where everyone is welcome to come view the creative work from teachers and students.
